Maria Frati is the founder and lead teacher of Art Club. Maria is a mixed media artist, art teacher and mom to two kids. She holds a master’s degree in art education from the Maryland Institute College of Art and spent six years teaching art in public school including four in the central Bronx. She has over a decade of experience as a teaching artist to every age group from kids to adults. Maria loves supporting and connecting people through the art making process and is excited to launch Art Club summer 2026! All staff are CPR certified and have competed a background check and trainings.
